Our PIPA is having issues, what should we do?
The most common cause for PIPA problems is failure to perform periodic preventive measures like cleaning, so this should always be the first step. Other issues may arise from time to time, but simple maintenance will keep most problems at bay for some time.
Is this problem with our Softouch covered under warranty?
Our warranties are quite comprehensive and cover unforeseen failures of all electrical components. However, damage from impacts, improper use, and on site electrical damage are not. A thorough inspection before repair will determine if a unit will be covered.
The print quality on our printer is not very good, should we just turn up the heat?
No. The heat setting on a printer should be between 35 and 50% (10 to 15 for most printers). The most common reasons for poor print quality are old or poor quality media and failing or misaligned print head.
